Courses of Clinical Neuromodulation

A successful partner between the NAPeN Network, ABRAFIN and the Physiotherapy Division of ICHC FMUSP.   For health professionals to be able to use transcranial direct current stimulation and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation as a tool to complement their practice, specialized training is required, which involves basic knowledge of biophysics, mechanisms of action, safety criteria, therapeutic effects and practical training.

In order to achieve the objective of promoting high quality qualification and training for the proper use of neuromodulation techniques, the NAPeN Network, in partnership with the Physiotherapy Division of the Central Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo Medical School (ICHC FMUSP) and the Brazilian Association of Neurofunctional Physiotherapy (ABRAFIN) has periodically promoted courses aimed at clinical application: 30 hours of transcranial direct current stimulation and 60 hours of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation.  In particular, physical therapists, at the end of the course, are able to use these techniques in their clinical practice, respecting the guidelines of Resolution N ° 434 of September 27, 2013 and Judgment N ° 378 of August 29, 2014 of the Federal Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy (COFFITO). So far, eight editions of the course have taken place, with around 160 qualified professionals. #clinical neuromodulation #redenapen
